Wanda Burgi

Graduate Student Intern, Therapist

Having had the opportunity to live in a variety of places, both near and abroad, I have gained a deep understanding of how diverse life experiences shape who we are. This journey has deepened my awareness of the importance of self-reflection and emotional understanding in healing. I recognize that life can sometimes feel overwhelming and isolating, and I believe we are better together, especially during moments of vulnerability.

I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens, with the understanding that emotions are a vital part of our experience. They can offer insight into our needs, desires, and the challenges we face. I believe that our bodies also hold important clues to our emotional and mental states, and by tuning into them, we can deepen our understanding of ourselves and heal in a more integrated way. I am committed to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing, while providing a safe, supportive, and empathetic space where you can explore and honor this season in your life.

On a personal note, I am currently finishing my Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at George Fox University. I am a person of faith, happily married, and a proud parent to three amazing adult children. Outside of work and school, I love spending time with my family and friends, having deep conversations, being outdoors, hiking with our spazzy dog, and indulging in boba tea.
