Sammi Harvey, MA
Marriage & Family Therapist Associate
I enjoy working with people who wish there was something different about their life; people who feel stuck. As your therapist, I will help guide you in examining what is not working. You deserve more than just surviving through life; you deserve to thrive.
My aim is to facilitate a process wherein clients develop trust in their own intuition, tapping into the depth of their emotions. My therapeutic approach pulls from Emotion-Focused, Person-Centered, and Attachment lenses. I am a supportive presence, walking beside my clients at their pace and offering affirmation & gentle nudges towards their goals.
My lived experience has taught me the power of a supportive therapeutic relationship in healing. Being that kind of presence for my clients is an honor. As your therapist, it would be my privilege to offer that support to you as you navigate through your journey toward healing and growth.
I value working with all ages, as well as couples & families. I have a special interest in working with LGBTQIA+ adults navigating faith transitions or recovering from religious trauma.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy going to comedy shows, rollerskating, crafting, and adding to my Dolly Parton memorabilia collection.
