Co-Founder, Therapist & Administrative Supervisor
Often, I find change is about slowing down and tuning in rather than making huge external shifts.
I graduated with a BA in Psychology from University of Oregon in 2014, and a MA in Counseling from Western Seminary in 2019. I practice from the lens of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Internal Family Systems; To me, this means I want to help you operate from your own value system with a deep sense of self-compassion. I am a relational and systemic oriented therapist, which means I will bring in awareness and curiosity about how you’re impacted by relationships and larger systems; I am committed to discussing power and oppression openly. I am also trained in EMDR, and work from a trauma-informed lens.
I view therapy as a collaborative effort and want to help my clients to recognize their strengths, identify needs, understand conflicts, discover new options, and make informed choices in a warm and non-judgmental space through empathy and curiosity. I care about giving others the space to be heard and to feel their inherent worth and value.
I am passionate about helping you cultivate self-compassion, and reconnecting to your own needs and desires. I believe there are no bad parts of us, but contexts and circumstances force us into behaviors of survival. I would love to help you pin point what feels hard, where you feel stuck, and to reconnect to yourself in new ways.
I use pronouns she/her. I am married and I’m a mom. Outside of therapy you can find me baking, eating out with friends, relaxing with my family, or reading anything from a memoir to a self-help book to a thriller.
