Cheyenne McDougall
Graduate Student Intern, Therapist
Stepping into the world of therapy can feel intimidating, but it’s also a space where transformation begins. My own journey with therapy started at a young age, with pauses along the way, yet I always found myself returning. Each time, I poured out the swirling thoughts and emotions running wild in my head and was consistently met with safety and support. It’s this same sense of understanding and encouragement that I’m overjoyed to offer you.
We live in a world that is inherently flawed, and the weight of its challenges can often leave us feeling hopeless and frustrated. Yet, I firmly believe that with the right tools and a safe, supportive environment, every one of us has the potential to grow into the best version of ourselves. So bring me the messy—the raw, unfiltered parts of life—and together, we’ll work to uncover meaning and create clarity.
Emotions are powerful drivers of our experiences. My goal is to help you explore and embrace them while discovering how to channel them in ways that serve you. Drawing on years of experience with vulnerable populations and Trauma-Informed Care, I use a person-centered approach to therapy. This means we focus on you—your emotions, strengths, and sense of belonging—so you can navigate this wild, unpredictable world with confidence and purpose.
I use she/her pronouns. I spend much of my free time with my partner in crime: Bubba, my Boston Terrier. I also love vintage, photography, and being creative with all types of art!
