Bailey Becker

Graduate Student Intern, Therapist

We live in a world of high expectations and high demand. It’s easy to get stuck in negative patterns of behavior, even with those you hold closest. This does not mean you’re broken; it means you’re human. You may be wondering if you need to be here, or if you even want to be here. I invite you to bring the confusion, the hurt, the anger, and any other feelings you’re holding onto into the session. I’m here to help you make sense of the messiness and quiet the chaos.

My therapeutic approach relies primarily on Emotionally-Focused Therapy principles as well as elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am happy to work with clients from all walks of life, and strive to make my office an affirming environment for people of all backgrounds. I take special interest in working with teens, couples, families, and new parents.

Life is full of taboos — the doubts, the drama, the ‘I-probably-shouldn’t-say-this’ thoughts. In my office, nothing is too weird or too heavy, and we’ll sort through it together. If you’re looking for a therapist who is compassionate, real, and ready to challenge you to be the best version of yourself, I’m looking forward to working with you!

I use she/her pronouns. When I’m not at school or in the office, you can find me spending time with my partner, cuddling my sweet dog, weightlifting, watching horror movies, or adding to my perfume collection.
