Bailey Becker

Graduate Student Intern, Therapist

We live in a world of high expectations and high demand. It’s easy to get stuck in negative patterns of behavior, even with those we hold closest. This does not mean we’re broken; it means we’re human. I believe we already possess the tools we need for healing and growth. My role as a therapist is to help you uncover those tools, encourage healthier attachments, and guide you as you create new pathways toward connection and fulfillment.

My therapeutic approach relies primarily on Emotionally-Focused/Attachment Therapy (EFT) principles as well as elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am happy to work with individuals and couples from all walks of life, and strive to make my office an affirming environment for people of all backgrounds. I take particular interest in working with teens, new parents, and couples facing life transitions. Starting therapy can be a whirlwind of confusing emotions. You may be wondering if you need to be here, or if you even want to be here. I invite you to bring the confusion, the hurt, the anger, and any other feelings you’re holding onto into the session. I’m here to help you make sense of the messiness and quiet the chaos. If you’re looking for a therapist who is compassionate, real, and ready to challenge you to be the best version of yourself, I’m looking forward to working with you!

I use she/her pronouns. When I’m not at school or in the office, you can find me spending time with my partner, cuddling my sweet dog, weightlifting, watching horror movies, or adding to my perfume collection.
